And just like that, it's the day before Christmas. I missed a lot of days I feel like I should have covered. But lack of internet leaves me with little choice. One day, I woke up and it was gone. Ah, well. At any rate, Merry Christmas. And I'll get back to this whenever I can. Hanging with my friends today. Hanging with the fam tomorrow. Good times? Could be worse. But hey. That's what family's for. Right? Right?! Oh. .God. .

So I haven't seen the cute one in quite a while. That bookseller from Childrens. Ah, well.

I work tonight from 7-12a. Short shift but I've gotta close so it may feel longer. Ah, short shifts are really starting to yank at me. It feels like a long one, but I'm not making enough money. Especially noticeable when everything and everyone you owe has the same due date. It just leaves one feeling. .trapped.

What have I done lately, though. Well, my BTTF items came in a few days ago. I'll have pictures up soon for those items. I especially enjoy the scale DeLorean Time Machine. Was only 15 bucks and wasn't a bad purchase at all. I also bought the Best Buy edition of The Dark Knight. It came with a mini-replica of the "Bozo" mask Joker wears during the bank robbery. Enjoying that as well. Other than that, I picked up some books since it was Employee Appreciation Week recently. Extra 10-15% off of in-store items. Picked some Christmas presents up and all that. I'm actually proud that I'll be able to give Christmas presents this year. To my family at least. I'd like to be able to get at least one more present for a friend. One who always gets me something no matter what holiday it is. She gave me a Wonder Woman book the other day when we went to see Bolt. It was for Christmas. Well, Christmas and it was part of my "going away" present since I'm headed for San Francisco next year.

San Francisco. . I really don't know why that city means so much to me. I've never been there. It just seems to call out to me. Whenever and however I can experience it, I do. I watch movies that could be terrible as long as I can see San Francisco. I play GTA: San Andreas because of the fake San Fran. San Francisco Rush is one of the best racing games. To me anyway. .if only because I got to see San Francisco. It just calls to me. Some friends say that it's because it's where I was always meant to go school. Others say it's because that's where my true love is. I just don't know. But I'm on my way. And I'll find out once I'm there.

Monday. Off today. Next shift is Wednesday. Well, might be Wednesday. I'm on call from 6-close. No worries. Work or not, I'm sure it'll be great if my stuff shows up by then. And by stuff I mean, the things I ordered for Christmas. From me to me. All of it Back to the Future-related. Favorite movie of all time, that one. Anyway, it's an assortment of buttons, and shirts, and whatnot. -shrug-

Work recently has been kind of. .trying. Especially when I was called in by the Store Manager and was told that some other leads came to her to say that I wasn't pulling my load. And I was like, "Really? With my name on the bulletin board for most Membership Cards sold in a day? When I finish my area at night, I move on to those others who are straggling? Really?" And just to prove my point, I finished the day with 8 Member cards on which she commended me. So. Blah.

Other than that incident, I guess it hasn't really been that bad. Black Friday was a great day. Really felt like I accomplished something. Day after that was okay as well. Work that Saturday was especially interesting since I met someone's who's been working for two weeks at this location but have never seen. She's utterly cute and dammit if I didn't stumble through the introduction. She really is cute, but with my luck, she'll be another who's married or has a BF. Ah, well. I guess it's not such a bad thing since technically, I have a GF. Psh.
